An MSP is a Managed Services Provider; we provide you with all your licencing, software and security in addition to providing IT support.

In the early days of IT support, most IT companies worked on a “break/fix” model, coming to your office when there was an issue. With the advancement in monitoring solutions, that became more of a proactive approach meaning that problems could be fixed remotely, sometimes before you even knew there was an issue.

With the cloud computing boom, everything started moving towards a subscription model; Office licencing is now a monthly recurring charge, along with antivirus, email security and much more. Also came the cloud hosted servers and desktops, all managed by the IT provider, so the MSP term came into being.
